⚠️ Engineering Detail: Why a “Hollow” Design?
In new generation welding robots (such as Fanuc iC, ABB ID, Yaskawa MA series), cables do not hang externally but pass through the inside of the arm. Standard shock sensors are enclosed, making them incompatible with these robots.

Switch Mechanism: When the torch encounters an obstacle, the sensor body flexes (deflection). This flexing activates the internal micro-switch circuit and sends an "Emergency Stop" signal to the robot controller.
Hybrid Cooling Compatibility (G/W): This unit offers a universal platform for connecting both air-cooled (G) and water-cooled (W) torch necks. You do not need to change the sensor even if you change the cooling type.

The sensor itself does not provide cooling, but it is compatible with both systems (G/W stands for Gas/Water). The torch neck and flange kit you attach to it determine the cooling type.
